The BMR USA VHS444TP-6-100P is a 100 HP, 1200 RPM Vertical Hollow Shaft Motor designed to meet the rigorous demands of high-capacity deep well turbine pump installations. Stepping up to the 444TP cast iron frame, this motor represents a significant increase in power density and thrust capacity, making it well suited for large-scale agricultural irrigation, municipal water supply, and demanding industrial pumping applications where a 6-pole, lower-speed design is specified.

The 444TP frame incorporates the upper bracket machined for 175% extra high thrust (EHT), providing enhanced structural support for the heavy axial loads common in deep well applications. The precision-cast “P” base design allows direct mounting to the pump column without removing the rodent screen, and the oil bath thrust bearing system ensures long-lasting performance under continuous full-load operation. The dual-flow airflow system with lower bracket air ducts maintains optimal operating temperatures across demanding duty cycles.

Rated at a NEMA Nominal Efficiency of 95.0% with a power factor of 88% and a 1.15 service factor, the VHS444TP-6-100P is built for 50°C ambient environments and altitudes up to 3,300 feet above sea level. Notably, this motor is the first in the 1200 RPM 6-lead lineup to offer an extra downthrust rating of 17,200 lbs alongside the standard 9,800 lbs, providing important flexibility for installations with elevated thrust load requirements. The 12-ball ductile iron Ball Type Non-Reverse Ratchet prevents backspin at shutdown, protecting both the motor and connected pump.
