The BMR USA VHS445TP-6-200P is a 200 HP, 1200 RPM Vertical Hollow Shaft Motor representing the upper tier of the 445TP frame platform, engineered to deliver maximum output power at the lower 6-pole synchronous speed. Designed for high-capacity deep well turbine pump systems, this motor is the ideal choice for large-scale agricultural irrigation, municipal water supply and treatment, industrial water management, and other demanding applications where sustained high-output performance at 1200 RPM is required.

Operating on the same proven 445TP cast iron frame as the 125HP and 150HP models, the VHS445TP-6-200P benefits from the full suite of 440-series features including an upper bracket machined for 175% extra high thrust (EHT), an oil bath thrust bearing system for long-term reliability under continuous heavy axial loads, and a dual-flow cooling system with lower bracket air ducts for effective heat dissipation across demanding duty cycles. The precision-cast “P” base allows direct pump column mounting without removing the rodent screen.

Rated at a NEMA Nominal Efficiency of 95.8% — the highest in the 6-lead 1200 RPM lineup to this point — with a power factor of 89% and a 1.15 service factor, this motor delivers premium efficiency performance that can meaningfully reduce operating energy costs in continuous-duty pump applications. The step up to 89% power factor from the 88% seen on the 100HP through 150HP models reflects the optimized winding design for this higher output level. The motor is rated for 50°C ambient environments and altitudes up to 3,300 feet above sea level.

Standard downthrust is rated at 9,800 lbs with an extra downthrust option available at 17,200 lbs, providing flexibility for a wide range of deep well pump installation configurations. The 12-ball ductile iron Ball Type Non-Reverse Ratchet prevents reverse rotation at shutdown, protecting both the motor and connected pump.
