The BMR USA VHS326TP-6-030P is a 30 HP, 1200 RPM Vertical Hollow Shaft Motor and represents the top of the 12-lead 1200 RPM HTA series lineup. Built on the 326TP cast iron frame, this motor is engineered for reliable, efficient performance in deep well turbine pump applications where a 12-lead winding configuration is specified for added starting flexibility and compatibility with wye-delta or part-winding reduced voltage starters.

The 12-lead winding design is a key differentiator from the 6-lead series, giving this motor greater versatility in starting method selection. Wye-delta starting reduces inrush current during startup — an important consideration in applications where utility demand charges or electrical infrastructure limitations make high locked rotor current undesirable. This makes the VHS326TP-6-030P particularly well suited for installations where soft-start capabilities or reduced voltage starting are required without the use of an electronic soft starter or VFD.
